Following a selection procedure that saw 534 applications submitted, the jury of the competition for Fellows at the French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici, 16 fellows were chosen.

This new class of Fellows, representing 9 artistic disciplines and 4 different nationalities, will be welcomed at Villa Medici from September 2023 for a one-year residency in creation, experimentation or research. As part of the programme, Fellows will be provided with a residence grant, accommodation and a workspace.
